Read project story ↗The business need
Accepting payment is one part of a reliable checkout. The important operational question is how a payment is initiated, matched to the right order, confirmed, reconciled and handled when a callback arrives late, twice or not at all.
What Valron considers
Valron can scope payment integration by mapping transaction states, references, idempotency, refund handling, settlement evidence, user-facing confirmations and access to financial records. Any actual implementation depends on the merchant’s payment provider approvals and API capabilities.
Implementation and operating requirements
We separate sandbox tests from live readiness, validate webhook authenticity when supported, avoid storing sensitive secrets in browser code, log significant state changes and define reconciliation procedures for exceptions. Provider charges and merchant contracts are separate from development pricing.
Evidence and context
BooksFirst ecommerce and operations are useful contexts for discussing the difference between a paid order and a confirmed payment. Do not assume every flow or payment provider is available for every merchant or territory.
We'll review the exact workflows and dependencies before committing to scope, cost or delivery dates. You can start with a short message; there is no need to prepare a formal software specification.
